The historic Rumsey Town Hall has been a cornerstone of the Capay Valley for over 120 years, hosting weddings, memorials, community potlucks, and so much more.
Since the day it first stood, generations of neighbors have given their time, energy, and funds to keep it going. From the late 1900s into the early 2000s, local residents rebuilt the hall we know today, raising funds to build a new foundation and update its infrastructure.
After 25 years, the hall has a fresh coat of paint, and the work continues. Please join the generations before you in helping us make the much-needed building improvements to keep this treasured building safe and welcoming for years to come.
The Rumsey Improvement Association (RIA) has set aside $15,000 to match your gift, dollar for dollar. Your $10 becomes $20, your $100 becomes $200, and your $1,000 becomes $2,000. No amount is too small.
